Chartered Accountant (CA) of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and foundation member of the New Zealand Trustees Association.

Chris started his career with John Matheson, a sole practitioner in Sydenham Christchurch.

He subsequently joined Miller Gale & Winter in December 1973 and became a Partner on 30 June 1978.

He provides business advisory services and compliance services to a wide range of clients, which embraces both their business and personal financial affairs. 

Chris is the Supervising Partner for our audit practice and is a Director of Broadbase MGW Limited, which provides a wide range of financial services essentially for clients of Miller Gale & Winter.

Outside Interests

Chris is married to Rose with adult children, Lesley, Andrew and Jenny.

Chris is a family man who is an avid Canterbury and Crusaders fan.  When they aren’t playing locally you’ll find him out gardening, fishing or walking.
